Every person is unique, and so is every session.
My approach is to listen—deeply—to your body’s story, your aspirations, and your challenges. Together, we co-create a plan that can include therapeutic massage, corrective exercise and mindful movement.
Massage therapy:
Massage is an important part of self-care, whether you are an athlete looking to improve performance or recover from injury, or in need of some relaxation and to soothe the nervous system (or both!)/
Each treatment session is designed around your specific needs and can be focused on what you need on that day, emotionally and physically. Sports, holistic and massage treatments, and Indian Head Massage are available. I like to work on the whole body if possible as often there are issues that are connected that can be as far apart as head and toes.
I use a range of techniques from swedish, thai yoga massage, ayurvedic massage and sports massage.
I aim to make each treatment relaxing, even if we are doing deep work. The intention is always to restore balance, relieve discomfort, and enhance your body’s natural healing processes.
Movement classes, remedial exercise & personal training:
Being able to move freely and easily is essential to everyday life, athletic performance and aging well. Working 1:1 or in classes I use a blend of functional movement principles, mobility work, and somatics to help you move with greater ease, strength, and confidence. I base movement on various styles that I have used in my career, including pilates and yoga based movement, calisthenics and animal flow.
We tend to use low weights and slow movement, using predominantly bodyweight work to ensure that the movement patterns are as efficient as they can be. The aim is to move better, wherever you are in your fitness journey.
Whether you are looking for relaxation, recovering from injury, wishing to prevent future pain, or looking to improve your athletic performance, you are in the right place.
